Fake environmentalists protesting Nagarajuna Thermal Power Plant in Padubidri Udupi have sunk to a new low by ignorantly attacking innocent scientists of National Institute of Oceanography in the sea and throwing Crores worth of equipment to sea or stealing them!

A boat carrying six scientists of the National Institute of Oceanography (NIO) here was allegedly attacked by a group of people off the Udupi coast in Karnataka, a senior official said on Wednesday.
The attack took place on October 8 when the scientists were on a routine survey mission and had hired a boat for the purpose, NIO Director, V P Shetye, said.
"People carrying cannons attacked the boat off the Udupi coast," Shetye said, adding the attackers also took away geo-physical instruments present in the boat.

Anti-Nagarajuna protesters are known to violent attack on innocent people. Led by fake scientist Vijaya Kumar Hegde SUSI and NRI sitting in Dubai - Balakrishna Shetty of Dubai Gas mafia - and dreams of making money selling gas to India - have always misled and attacked innnocent villagers in this region. Not to mention attacks on poor drivers of vehicles carrying equipment to Nagarjuna Power project site.

It is time governments take strict action against these criminals who have now attacked and stole central government property. So far actions of these thugs have been confined to attack drivers and other low level staff, but now they have directly challenged Indian government.

Government should consider sources of money pouring into Anti Nagarjuna Protest groups - and investigate why some people in Dubai like Balakrishna Shetty are so interested in setting up gas based plant while they oppose Thermal Plant.

Vijay Kumar Hegde - who made Pramod Madhwaraj resign from anti-Nagarjuna protest committe is now the self-styled President of Anti-Nagajurna Powerplant committee.

Let us see background of Vijay Kumar Hegde - famous as failed businessman of SUSI "Junk" shutter fame - before he immersed himself into the company of fake environmental organisations so that he can milk crores in aid money from Norway, European Union, USA etc.

Susi Vijay Kumar Hegde was (in)famous earlier for his crashing shutters. And he shut the shop after failing miserably in that business.

And now he has reinvented as "scientist" claiming bogus patents for generating power from sea!!!! When countries with heavy winds have not been succesful in generating power from sea this bogus scientists wants crores of rupees from government to "develop" his product.

He took whole bunch of press people to show his product but did not show anything saying "I don't want to give up secret" and showed some old machinery on boat which anyone could guess was used for generating FISH rather than generating POWER as claimed by this nutcase.

On Google search when you search for Nagajuna Power Plant Udupi one comes across this post by some investigative journalist and he is right on the money. So I am linking to that post here which exposes fake environmentalists like Balakrishna Shetty and SUSI Vijaya Kumar Shetty.

In addition to this it is well known who is funding Nandikoor Janajagruti Samithi.

When all developing countries are developing Thermal plant which is lot cheaper to run (China brings on average ONE THERMAL PLANT ONLINE PER YEAR!)

But NOOOOO. Mr.Shetty wants to have his pie in an area where he no longer lives and wants to eat it too! If there is one reason why people hate NRIs is this is it! Working as a coolie in Middle-east this Balakrisha Shetty wants to use fake environmentalism to make money! SHAME BALAKRISHNA SHETTY!! Why can't you restrict your love for this region by visiting once a year like other coolies do instead of meddling with our lives? At the end of the day WE LIVE HERE and not you NRI LOSERS.

Balakrishna Shetty - sitting nicely in his airconditioned office in Dubai - whose power is supplied by drilling the earth mercilessly for oil - is now considered "an environment hero"! So how is that Balakrishna Shetty - who went to Dubai with nothing like millions of Indian coolies - is now in the forefront of anti-Nagarjuna protests?

Why this sudden love for environment when in his past he has been merciless in dealing with environmental issues for his self gain? What is his agenda? Why is he funding goondas who threaten anyone who would like to see power plant established so that people of this region need not run away to Dubai to do coolie work?

And why is a failed businessman like Vijay Kumar Hegde - a self-styled scienist with some bogus patent and now "President" of anti-Nagarjuna protest going around offering his goonda services to people in other part of states? And how valid is his insane argument like "there is no power shortage in Karnataka?"
